I know you can get SNMP to fire on a router if it encounters problems but what about is that router is running CME? Are there any alerting tools thant can be loaded on te router itself to monitor CME and fire SNMP (or anything else) to send notification? I am looking for something self-contained on the router and not something that has to tie back into a management console. We need monitoring capabilities for our customers but some of them don't want us having a full-time VPN to their network
