Running CCM 4.0(2a)SR1 I would like an assistant to be able to monitor her manager's line. I want the same result as if I were to use the monitoring capability in callmanager express (ie: button 2m3)
I don't want her to place calls from the managers DN nor it to ring on her phone, just see if it's in use or not. She is using a 7960.

CallManager 4.0 has a feature called 'MessageFunctionality' using which an Assistant can monitor the Manager's line.

THanks for your reply. Do you have any links to a document as I can't seem to find any reference to 'MessageFunctionality' anywhere on the site or in the callmanager documentation.
