I'm configuring intercom functionality with speed-dials and auto-answer. When the speed-dial is pressed, the called party only wants to be able to hear. He doesn't want the calling party to be able to hear him. Is there a way in CM 3.3(2) or any other version, to configure a line to mute on answer? Thanks in advance.

I am not very sure whether this feature is upported in the IP phones. May be you can try.

I think a better approach would be a service that presented a menu. Choosing a person on that menu would post the appropriate CiscoIPPhoneExecute commands to direct the callers phone to send an rtp stream and the callee's phone to receive it. When you tell the phone to receive or send, it comes up muted - presumably to avoid the possibility of remote eavesdropping.
