Hello,
Our scenario is setup B2B SIP URI dial
When SIP inbound dial from 3rd external endpoint via Expressway E&C to Jabber internal, it has some media issue as below:
(1) SIP dial from 3rd external endpoint to Jabber inside (IP address on User-vlan, different vlan with CUCM, Expressway-C vlan) : only audio, not video
(2) SIP dial from 3rd external endpoint to Jabber inside (IP address on VOIP-vlan, same vlan with CUCM, Expressway-C vlan) : both audio and video
There are no firewall between VOIP-vlan and User-vlan
I checked the wireshark logs on Jabber client on Window, it's so weird:
- No.(1) Media traffic exchange between Jabber client (10.161.23.200) and Voice Gateway (10.161.48.10). Attached file wireshark.vlan23.png
- No.(2) Media traffic exchange between Jabber client (10.161.48.240) and Expressway-C (10.161.48.22). Attached file wireshark.vlan48.png
I checked configuration on CUCM side, no SRST applied to Device Pool. It seems CUCM (10.161.48.9) forward media traffic to Voice Gateway.
Thanks for all your answers,
Sy

Media flows directly between EXPC and the Jabber.
3rd party external endpoint call reaches eXPC and then EXPC conncts the media directly to jabber after jabber answers.
may be a firewall issue. can you replicate this setup using another laptop/PC ?
show us EXPC logs. so we can have better understanding what is happening there.

Sounds like your Jabber implementation has not been configured for 'escalation to multipoint' properly using an MCU or TP server.

Thanks for all your answers,
I found the reason is Device Mobility Infos function. Then I have to create new subnet for Jabber endpoint.
Thanks,
Sy
