no voice at start of call

when a call comes in, the first few seconds of audio are not heard. so the receptionist has to ask the caller to repeat...Are their any know issues bringing a pri in through a h323 gateway and having this problem, or does anyone have any suggestions.

I've also had complaints of this from my users. It seemed to start after upgrading to 3.1.

I have the same problem with incoming calls on PRI to a 3660 router. The first couple of seconds of speech is not heard. This problem only appeared when the router IOS was upgraded from 12.1.5T to 12.2 .

Check your IOS level it is a known problem with cisco.
