Outbound Dial Peer

Can anyone pls help me, about inbound dial peer? My setup is I have a 7200 VXR connected to a 5ess switch via a T1 connection. The the 7200 VXR acts as a gateway and gatekeeper, and i also setup a ATA-186 on the other network for me to make a inbound and ountbound calls. Using the ATA-186 i can make a call outbound by pulling a second dial tone via the 5ess without a problem.. my problem is when i make a inbound call from the pstn then the 5ess forwards the digits to my gatekeeper. i get a dial tone instead of a ring from ATA.

Hope anyone can help me with these dial-peering..

thank you very much

Can't confirm without seeing the configs, but you probably need 'direct-inward-dial' on the first POTS dial peer that references the voice ports the calls are coming in on. This configures the router to accept the DNIS and then make a match on other dial peers (single stage dialing)
