I have the current environment where topology is:

Phone(78XX) ======= cucm ====== sip trunk (RP 0.!) ======= VG ======= BRI(0/2/0 and 0/2/1) line (41766018X)

Incoming and outgoing call is not working.

Attached the config file and sip messages and debug q931.

Your debug contains the following lines

000531: Mar 31 15:15:22.581 CET: //18211/756588B6800A/CCAPI/ccCallDisconnect:
   Cause Value=1, Tag=0x0, Call Entry(Previous Disconnect Cause=0, Disconnect Cause=0)

According to the link below the cause value of 1 means unassigned number

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice/h323/14081-voip-debugcalls.html#q931

Can you dial the number you are trying to reach from a non-Cisco phone? - e.g. your cell phone?

Can you dial any PSTN numbers from the gateway?

Looking at the rest of the debug I would try using a voice translation rule to change the outgoing plan type from ISDN to Unknown.

The link below shows how to configure these rules but not the exact config you would need.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice/call-routing-dial-plans/64020-number-voice-translation-profiles.html#con18

Hi James,

config guide helped to correct the incoming call translation rule, now incoming are working fine. But i have not able to make outbound calls.

Here a scenarion: i have 7821 phone dialling international number 0.00393450462650 it waits 3 sec and gives busy tone. strange thing is that i am not getting any debug on gateway to which sip trunk is pointed. i used below debug:

debug isdn q931
debug ccsip mess
debug voip ccapi inout

Phone(78XX) ======= cucm ====== sip trunk (RP 0.!) ======= VG ======= BRI(0/2/0 and 0/2/1) line

the only sip message i am getting

SIP/2.0 483 Too Many Hops
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 10.105.244.145:5060;branch=z9hG4bK255405654adc39
From: <sip:10.105.244.145>;tag=2115088433
To: <sip:10.100.46.244>;tag=DA00384-FF
Call-ID: f6331780-6fe140b4-254fd5-91f4690a@10.105.244.145
CSeq: 101 OPTIONS
Reason: Q.850;cause=100
Content-Length: 0

i have attached the gateway config for your reference. Can you explain me the concept how the call flow should here in this scenario, what should be remember in this topology.

regards

Vijay
