We have a number of route patterns that add an outgoing prefix to calls.
The side affect of this is that this prefix also gets displayed on the IP phone to show the complete set of digits pushed to the PSTN. However we want to just show what the user dialled and not relay the prefix back to the display. Does anyone know a method of achieving this? thanks.

Try to use the router pattern, route-list, and route-group construct. And conifgure the prefix in the route-group rather than the route-pattern.

I can't see anywhere in route group that a prefix can be entered. Have I misunderstood your response maybe. We are on CCM 4.0(1).

Go to the Route List first. Find the Route Group under the Route List and open it. There you will find a prefix number parameter for the called number.

When you configure the route-list, the system asks you to insert the route-group. on that page, there are calling party transformation and called party transformation, and you can prefix and discard digits.
