A factory wants to deploy IP telephony over its IP LAN, but it wants to have paging facility to page all employees in case of fire or disaster.
How can I do paging on the CM, and what is FXS paging?

You can implement overhead paging through a conventional paging system (via amplifier) with an analog interface on a router/vg200. Whether or not you need an FXS (station) or FXO (office) interface will depend on your paging system. The FXS interface would be one that provided dial tone to the paging system. However, many paging systems now are the station side so that you can simply hang an analog phone off of the paging system and use it to call paging regions.

I've used the Valcom V-2000 series paging units with FXO cards and they work fine. If you want config specific's, let me know.
