Since upgrading to phone load P00307000200 on 1/25/05, I have had several 7940s randomly reset and get stuck at Registering. I can unplug the phone, plug it back in, and it comes up fine, but the problem continues to happen.

Please check the callmanager App log on the server on which these phones are registered to check what is reson code ,which would tell you who is iniating this reset is it CM or ipphone ,if u r unable to understand the error in app log ,paste it here i would help u understand it ,also you upgrade load to 7.1.2 since u r running 7.0.2 rightnow ,upgrade the load to 7.1.2 on on the problem phones and see if that helps .

This is a known bug in version 7.1(1)
This version is also deffered.
You can download version 7.1(2) where the problem is solved.
