Phones reboot after Ext Mob login/logout

Hi all,

A strange one where SOME of the phones on the network reboot after each login/logout with Ext Mobility. It's more of an annoyance than anything.

Phones run default load on CM3.3(3)sr4a - any ideas?

Thank,

Stuart

Stuart,

Check out which languages are installed on the system and make sure that the language of the phone when it is logged out is the same as the language of the user logging in.

Also make sure any regionalisations are the same (network locale user locale etc.) Where they apply.

Also make sure that all servers in the cluster have all required languages and locales installed.

Hi,

we also have this in our environment.

Bug:CSCea14801

Symptom:

IP phone reset twice, about 20 seconds apart, after Extension Mobility user

successfully login.

Condition:

Extension Mobility user login to a 7940 ip phone.

Login successful.

The ip phone reset and changed to the user's assigned profile.

Wait 20 seconds or so.

The IP phone reset itself again, with the same user's profile.

Workaround:

None.

Paul - sorted thank you. User locale was indeed the problem. The default locale on the system was UK which hadn't been loaded. Thank you
