Private Line Automatic Rindown Question

I have recently upgraded a 2621 and VG200 Router to IOS 12.2.6. Everything is working ok except for the connection plar. The incoming call from the PBX via the FXO is ok. The extension connected to the FXS rings ok. The problem is when I answer the extension connected to the FXS the digits defined in the PLAR are played as DTMF tones to the FXS extension handset.

Help would be appreciated.

Do you have a prefix defined on the FXS side?

Can you provide a running config so we can see the configuration? So are you just plar'ing from fxo to fxs on the same router or different router?
