problems in Jabber client registration on CUCM with secure device profie

Hi All,

I have facing issues with Jabber client registration on CUCM.

The client registration is successful when using the device security profile as " Cisco Unified Client Services Framework - Standard SIP Non-Secure Profile".

But my requirement is to have a " Secure Profile". In the Device configuration Drop- down list there is no Secure Profile option.

I manually configured Secure profile under  System >> Security >> Phone Security Profiles with name - " Cisco Unified Client Services Framework - Standard SIP Secure Profile". But then the Client registration is rejected by CUCM.

As anyone seen similar issue or some body can advise how to have secure device profile for Jabber Client.

Thanks

RP

Hi RP,

Can you clear the cache and try again

For Windows 7:

C:\Users\<your user>\Application Data\ Roaming\Cisco\Unified
Communications\Jabber\Config\CSF
C:\Users\<your user>\Application Data\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber

Hi Manish,

Thanks for your Response.

I tried clearing the Cache but no luck :-(

Hi Rakesh,

Collect the problem report for one such jabber client using the following procedure

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice-unified-communications/jabber-windows/116334-trouble-jabber-problem-00.html

Hi Manish,

Thanks, I will try to collect the problem report now.

In the mean time, I made a little progress , but not complete success on the Jabber client registration with custom built secure profile, following the instructions from the Jabber Deployment Guide.

The client is attempting the CAPF enrollment process, with generated authentication string on the device config page on the CUCM, but its giving a connection error.

Attached screenshot for reference.
