jhess

I've got an analog phone hooked up to my 2651XM and when I try to dial my Meet-Me number that has been created on an IP phone I hear the beep on the IP Phone indicating that someone has joined, but on my analog phone I just get a busy signel... Anyone else have this issue?

Here are my dial peer setting...

dial-peer voice 5000 voip

preference 1

destination-pattern 50..

session target ipv4:192.168.1.124

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

any help would be great.

JH

I'd guess you are just using CM as the conference resource and not using a hardware based conference bridge? CallManager only supports g.711 for software based conferencing. IOS gateways use G.729 by default. Try changing the codec under the dialpeer to 'codec g711ulaw'.

Good luck,

Vance

Try to create a voice class codec and apply to the dial-peer.

voice class codec 1

codec preference 1 g711ulaw

codec preferece 2 g729r8

codec preference 3 g729b38

dial-peer voice <> voip

voice-class codec 1

If there is any codec issue this will take care of it.

Thanks,

Radhika
