Pulling Back a Call from an FXS port

Is it possible to send a call to an FXS port and pull it back if no answer? I have an overhead paging system that beeps. We want to have calls roll to the paging system if the attendant does not answer, beep, and be able to pickup the call from another phone. Is this possible?

I am thinking that if the FXS port were in an MGCP gateway, you can assign that endpoint to a call pickup group. Then when it rolls to the overhead pager and beeps, you can then use pickup to accept the call.
