Re-deploying DMM and DMS setup

We are re-deploying our DMM / DMS setup to a completely new network. Is there an easy way to reset the DMM appliance to factory defaults?  I did not see any documentation on this in the user guide. We will be executing upgrades from 5.0 to 5.2. Can anyone share any best practices on how to get this done as easily as possible. We simply turned down the server appliance in our previous office and will be re-deploying in a new office with different IP settings. Any best practices to share?

Charles,

Since you only need to change the IP address &\or Hostname, this should be a straight forward

process.

* Connecting to the AAI interface of the DMM & SnS locally using a Display & Keyboard, Change the

Network settings.

- change Hostname (if applicable)

- change IP address & subnet address

- change gateway address (if applicable)

- change DNS settings (if applicable)

* use the NETWORK_TOOLS 9AAI) to test the network connections

* Verify the server FQDNs are changed in your Corporate DNS servers to reference the new IP address'

* Once IP connectivity & DNS settings have been verified, Re-Pair the appliances starting with the SnS to DMM first...
