Got a question.. what is the best way to have a customer get redirected to the helpdesk voicemail box?
Do I setup a redirect for this? If so, what is the best way for doing this in relation to strings and such?
I am running CRS 3.1(2) sr2 and CCM 3.3(3) sr3.
Thanks in advance

Hi Frazier,
You can create a string variable called Voicemail and specify the voicemail pilot no. e.g "9999"
Then just use a Call Redirect step to redirect the call to voice mail.
This is the most common method of redirecting to the voice mail.

Hi Aslam,
I have a question. We would like to do what you are describing in this scenario, however we would like to be able to play a prompt - I.E. - "To leave a voicemail, please press 1", and then do the call redirect step after 1 is pressed. Ideas?

Use the Menu step...
Within the Menu step, you can add the prompt, as well as define the key #1 for the customer to press. Right below this step will be a Success sequence, of which you redirect it to VM.
