Hi there
Just trying to get a CCM up and running with DC. It is a restored CCM which was using AD for it's directory. We are now trying to revert back to DC for a test environment. However, following all the documents it has not worked.
Is there a way to reset the passwords (I know there is a tool if you know what the password currently is)? Or even blowing away the current DC directory and reinstalling it?
Cheers
John

If I remember DC uses the local administrator account. You can reset that in computer management. Then log into the DC directory. Username would be Directory Manager and then the password. If that doesn't work let me know and we can change it in regedit.

What version of CCM are you running? 3.2 installers did not let you set the Directory Manager password. So the default password was always installed.
Username: Directory Manager
Password: ciscocisco
For 3.3 the password was set during the install. So try using the Administrator account password.
