Ring Volume problem with 7910

Hi !

When ever I restart my CCM 3.1.2c the ring volume on all 7910 phones goes down to minium

Kindly help

Are you sure you are saving the new ringer volume. The only thing I can remeber is going to a new load lowers the ringer volume and that was a particular load. Here is the bug id for that CSCdw93726, but it does not sound like your problem.

According to the page for that bug ID, upgrading the 7910's phone load to P00403010107 or higher lowers the ringer volume. If the original ringer volume before the upgrade is low enough, after the upgrade the 7910's ringer volume could be set to zero. Does this apply to a phone being reset or when you reboot a CM server?

my CM Ver is 3.2(1)

Do I need to put the Support patch on my box?

Those are 2 different trains of loads. The one above that is referenced in the bug is a 3.1 load. You are running 3.2 so it should not be an issue. I don't see where it could hurt to load the support patch. It will contain some bug fixes. It is purely up to you.
