Schedule CLI Command on CUCM and Save the Output into a Text File

Hi Guys,

Is there a way to schedule CLI command to CUCM and save the output to text file? I used to do this using DeviceExpert on my switches and routers, but apparently it does not work on CUCM. Thanks.

What command(s) do you want to run? It might be that you need a tool like pexpect to connect to CUCM, or it might be that you can get the same info from an API, or page scraping. Either way you go, the scheduler function could be Scheduled Tasks on windows, or cron on *nix.

The command would be for health check and sql queries. I want to automate some tasks so I do not have to do it repetitively.

The APIs have quite a bit of things for your to look at, and if you can avoid the CLI output, parsing the data will be easier with an API. Have you done API work before? Are you stuck on a particular part of this?
