I want to setup a user device profile so that i can use extension mobility, however when i go to the add user device profile screen, i can't select a 7940 button template that i have previously configured. The only options i get are for a 7960 6 lines, and a standard 7960. Why can't i see the button templates that are seen when looking in the device > device templates > phone button templates

goto service dropdown, service params. Select Extension Mobility Logout service.
You will see the 7940 button template parameter.
This parameter is there so a person can log into a 7940 phone. Even though their device profile states 7960 template it will default to the selected 7940 template selected here.
They were trying to make it more convenient by not making us create 2 profiles for every user.

Hi James,
Many thanks for the information, i am assuming that this change came into effect with CCM 3.3.
I am sure there is a method in their madness.
I have made the change and all work ok, thanks again.
