Terminating SIP phones to a 3845 running 12.4.20T with 256M Flash and 512M Mem. Attempting to terminate close to 200 3911 SIP phones to this router. when the CREATE PROFILE is entered under voice register global, the cnf.xml files for the phones are created. The problem is, with the load files and IOS, i am only able to put 172 files on the CF card. therefore the any phone that tries to register after say 173, there is no CNF file for him and therefore remains unprovisioned

NM-HDV is module supported by 3845 cisco IOS platform which supports 100 pps (number of voice terminations) by default.

Hi I'm actually having a similar issue.
Using this link...
What I did was:
1.- I removed from the configuration:
authenticate register
authenticate realm cisco.com
2.- I left the phones on the same network as the CME.
Now my problem is the unprovisioned message on the same phone everytime that phone is on a DIFFERENT subnet.
According to the command lookup tool, you should use the "authenticate register" when you have ip phones on a different subnet,
but I'm still having the unprovisioned issue.
I hope this helps.
