AFAIK Cisco never published a comprehensive protocol specification since they never offered a license to implement it on potentially competitive call control platforms. The best documentation I’m aware of is in the older CCNP books from Cisco Learning. As Leo indicated, it’s not used by any of the current generation of IP Phones, although media resources still use it, so it isn’t covered as prominently these days.

Why?
None of the new phones support SCCP.

I am an intern at an IT company and my boss has given me the task of finding the Cisco Skinny Protocol (SCCP) specification. I can't find this specification anywhere.
