We have a 7910 IP Phone that says in Call Manager under Status: Not Registered.
The phone worked before but now it is in a Configuring loop. The phone is connected to a laptop which is able to access the Internet and I have replaced the cat 5 cable from the phone to the wall jack without any success.

What switch are you plugged to, can you post the switchport configuration? Also, is the phone getting IP address and TFTP server?

It says it is configuring to the call manager ip address and cm list it keeps looping and never registers.

In the books I have looked in they say to press settings and go to status (5 key). The 7910 does not have a status option once you press settings so I can not determine the error message.
