Hi,
CCM 3.1.3a, TSP v. 3.0.1.32, Unity 3.0.2. The box is created as standalone. I create a certain new subscriber. When leaving a message on the new subscriber, there is nothing left on the subscriber's mailbox (Unity administrator/subscribers/subscribers/messages/Message storage=0 KB). The MWI also is not lit up. Then I delete him from Cisco Unity and from the Active Directory Users & Computers. I restarted the server again but no reaction. This happens on certain subscriber DN (Directory number) while when I'm creating and deleting other DNs there is no such a problem. What should be the cause for?

Panagiotis Liberopoulos
Intracom SA
Information & Open Systems dept.
+30 106674478
plib@intracom.gr
panagiotis_liberopoulos@hotmail.com

Is this Exchange 2000? If so do you have SP1 or SP2 installed? There's a known Exchange problem with RUS that can cause a box to be in this odd state where inbound messages are just tossed for a period of time (I've seen 30 minutes or more in the lab). SP1 or SP2 fixes this problem.

The Exchange 2000 version is: (6.0 build 4417.6) without any SP's.

we've found in our lab that the application of SP2 usually resolves this issue.

I'm sure I missed it - but is SP2 for E2K qualified for Unity 3.x now? Or is this just "in theory it doesn't cause problems? " :-)
Thanks!
