Support roadmap for Unity 2.4.6 with future CCM

I would like to know if there is a time frame for dropping support for Unity 2.4.6 integration with upcoming versions of Cisco Call Manager.

Our company currently uses 2.4.6 as a standalone voice mail server, since we have no need for viewmail or unified communications. However, we plan on continuing to upgrade the software on the CCM cluster. Is there a "cut off" point for supporting the integration of Unity 2.4.6 with upcoming versions of Call Manager?

We would like to be able to plan accordingly if we will be forced to upgrade to a higher version of Unity in order to maintain the current functionality. Thank you,

Jorge Figueroa

Currently the plan is to continue supporting 2.4.6 with each TSP release (we release new TSPs to make sure Unity can "talk" to various versions of CM). There are no plans at the present to cut off support for 2.4.6.

Here's the master matrix for supported versions of CM, TSP and Unity so you can check up on if a version of CM you want to jump to requires an updated TSP you need to obtain from us or not:

This shouls be updated with each new TSP/CM release.
