Three conferencing DSP channels to convert the G.711 streams into TDM for t

Folks,

I am unable to understand the aboev line. I have 1 site with G.711 if i want people to conference within the company and also people from the outside (PSTN) can i do this with callmanager only (no hardware dsp), what is the limit????

do i need a dsp in this case, when people will call from outside and we will conference them inside the company with other people.

This can be done in the CallManager software. You just need to create a software-based Conference Bridge. You are limited to 24 participants and G.711, I beleive. It will also take up 72 device units, if you are keeping score.
