Tracing threatening phone calls

My director of operations has been advised by building management that we should dial *59 after receiving a threatening phone call. This will allow Law Enforcement to trace the call. Is this practical for use with H323 gateways? I have a centralized CCM implementation and all of my offices have a H.323 gateway with PRI service.

This depends with Telco, will they recognize the *59

CM4.x has another feature called MCID which does the same thing but it only used Pri-net5. If you choose to look at Mcid, it's a little confusing as CM docs said it is support in PRI-NI2 and other popular signalings but then you look at the GW and it only supports Pri-net5 so u end up being stuck with net5.
