Two HeadSet Simultaneously

In the company, we have provided the cisco 8811 phones, with Plantronics headsets connected via RJ-9 audio ports.
We need to connect a second headset for training sessions, but unfortunately we don't have a solution yet. We tried various adapters, and splitters to connect more than one headset, but nothing that worked. Which would be the best solution to make two headsets work simultaneously (even without an active microphone on either one)? We are willing to switch to cisco headsets if needed, only if wireless.

Thanks in advance.

Both Plantronics and Jabra have DECT wireless base stations that are capable of pairing multiple headsets concurrently. Check their manual to confirm support and understand the procedure.

The wired equivalent to this would be a Y-cable splits out two quick disconnect connectors and a toggle switch for the supervisor to mute their microphone.
