Unity 3.1.4 connected to Ex 5.5 work work hidden recipients?

A new install of Unity 3.1.4 (Voicemail only) into an existing Exchange 5.5 Site environment so that UM can be deployed in future and so that one directory

can be used. Many voicemail-only users must be hidden from the address list though.

When Subscribers or Unity Objects are hidden from the GAL, will those objects still function with Unity? In the past (2.4 days) if Unity objects were hidden, they would not function with Unity, only custom address book views

were the only way to hide (voicemail only) Unity objects from GAL...thank you...

Unity can see users in the directory that are hidden from the address book no problem... how, exactly, are you hiding them "from the GAL"?

Unless you've gone in and edited the registry, Unity picks up all mail users, contacts and public distribution lists regardless of if they are hidden from the address books or not.
