Customer has Unity UM with Exchange 2k cluster with multiple message stores in a front-end/back-end server configuration. They are running into some problems where they have made software upgrades to the message stores and then when they try to log into the Web interface remotely as the administrator, they are getting Authentication failure messages. Customer can go to the console of the Unity server and login locally without any problem.
It has the appearance that there is some type of handshaking that is getting dropped if one of the message stores goes off line. Customer has gotten this to work again by going into the Unity server and stopping the Net Login and Web Publishing services and then starting them again.
Anyone else see this problem or have some suggestions as to where to look?
