Unity 4.0.2 - UnityMsgStoreSvc account

Should the UnityMsgStoreSvc account be in the Domain Admins group? The permissions documentation says no. However, I have a feeling that this could be an issue as to why I haven't been able to get my 4.0.2 server work correctly in a mix-mode environment.

I have checked ALL my permissions. All are set correctly. However, I am wondering if there's a "hidden" door somewhere as to why the trick is for me to get Unity 4.0.2 to talk to E5.5 via a dual CA mix-mode environment.

Can someone offer anything?

Thanks

I think that you've already found out what's going on, but going back to your question...

By default, the Domain Admins group is denied access to all Exchange mailboxes. It is possible to change this, but out of the box, that's how W2K is. Having the messaging service account in that group will likely cause all access to E2K mailboxes to stop.
