When a caller comes in from the PSTN the receptionist will transfer the call. If the call goes to voicemail, the receptionist gets a callback from the original caller. There is no one on the line from this call. It's like CUE is letting the transferee know that the caller left a voicemail by calling back.
Anybody experience this or have a good place to start looking?

I am having a similar problem and would love to know the resolution of this one. I have a CUE that during off hours when all outside calls are forwarded to VM, a strange problem occurs. Some of the outside callers will leave a message and then the CUE will continue to record messages that have the same number on caller ID but the caller did not call back. It is like the CUE is causing some kind of phantom callback to itself from the original callers number. I know this seems unlikely but I have logs that show repeated calls filling the messages repeatedly from the same number. Each of these messages in the log will end and restart again within milliseconds of each other.

I resolved the issue by upgrading to the latest version of CUE
