upgrading from 4.0(1)sr2a to 4.0(2)a

Has anyone successfully upgraded to 4.02 from 4.01sr2a using the web download. When I try, I get an error saying:

FindFileFirst: Return Code 21: The device is not ready

and I can't get passed that error.

Please if anyone has any ideas. Do I have to revert back to 4.0(1) without the service pack or what?

Prir to attempting the upgrade did you run the upgrade assistant?:

Ca you post the CCM Install log, if you could Zip the directory and post this would be good? Found in C:\program files\common files\ciso\log

I took a look at the log and it was looking for D:\stirecover.flg so I made that file and put it on a disc and in the d drive and clicked on the file. It seems to be ok, I can't watch it finish so I will let you know thanks.

Are you reloading the OS at the same time? If not then you do not need the recovery flag, this flag is created when you select restore from backup in the OS install.

No I have it up to 2000.2.6sr8 and ccm 4.01sr2
