Using Viewmail extension to record message hangs Outlook

I am installing Viewmail for a customer and when I try to record a voicemail using the phone, the phone rings and I record my message but after hanging up, Outlook hangs (doesn't seem to detect the phone hanging up) and I am unable to access Unity Administration, even from the server itself, I then have to reboot the Unity server.

Am using Unity 3.1.3a and Viewmail 3.1.3.

What's the OS of the client that has Viewmail?

This sounds very much like CSCdw22615. There's something that can be downloaded from MS for Win9X clients.
