VG200 MGCP E&M module?

Does the VG200 as a MGCP gateway support a E&M module? If so, what IOS and CM version do you need? If not, when?

If you mean analog E&M, then the answer is no. CallManager does not support analog E&M interfaces.

If you mean digital E&M emulation, such as T1 CAS using wink-start signaling instead of ISDN, then yes you can do this. Minimum CallManager version is 3.1 or later, IOS version is 12.2(2)XN, and this would be with the NM-HDV-1T1-24 module or the 2 port version as well.

Analog E&M, it is coming off an IAD from a local voice/data CLEC. I didn't know that the IAD supported analog E&M, I don't know why it is not FXO?? Anyway, I believe h.323 will work an vg200 with an analog E&M, correct? I guess we will have to convert to that. Thanks

Yes, analog E&M on a VG200 using H.323 signaling will work fine.
