Hi,
is there a way to force a router to use another IP than the serial port to initiate VoIP sessions.
for example, I need the router to initiate the session with IP address of a loopback or ethernet interface.
thanx

Hai Wassim,
I use AS5300 and Gatekeeper.
I use this command:
h323-gateway voip bind srcaddr
Regards,
Ronald.

Hi Ronald,
thank you for your response, but infortunately I don't have a Gatekeeper in my setup, so no H.323 gateway.
I'm not sure but I think that this command applies only if I have a gateway configured.
Is that true?

Halo Wassim,
Sorry I do not know how to bind the source address if we do not use ras. Can anyone help?
Regards,
Ronald.
