Webattendant and IP softphone

Hello,

How can I use Webattendant with IP soft phone?

Webattendant settings require that you specify the MAC address of the IP phone, but softphone is asocciated by DNS name. When I out a MAC address of the computer network card, where softphone is installed it does not work.

How can I solve the probelm?

I use callmanager 3.2 and softphone 1.2.3.

Well, you just can't use a softphone with the webattendant or the new attendant console, you need an IP Phone !

as far as I know you will have no chance. You need to have a hardware phone for using WebAttendant.

Using softphone to answer the calls to Web Attendant client will not work. You will need to use the hardware phone.
