Hi All,
Can someone please clarify if Webex internal or external ports are required when integrating Webex with MeetingPlace 8.0 for scheduling audio conferences ony?
Thank you

WebEx is not required for an Audio only MP deployment. Scheduling can be done using the MP plugin to Outlook. All that is required is a single server for the MP Application Server. If you require web scheduling or recording then a second server is needed for MP web. With this meetings are scehduled and each meeting has a unique meeting ID.
If you want to use the WebEx Productivity tools to schedule meeting then yes you need one internal and one external licenses as that requires a WebEx site. With this you schedule through the productivity tools but the meeting is not scheduled on MP. MP uses the reservationless ID of the person scheduling the meeting. This can be confusing for some users.
MP 8.5 removes the requirement for internal and external licensing as all meeting can be in the cloud. For audio only meetings (not using a WebEx license) these meetings are also reservationless.
Hope this helps

Is the Outlook plugin free if you are ugrading from MPx2.1 with outlook integration using UCSS?
Or is Plugin free with Clean install using CUWL Pro with MP8.5?
Thanks.

Hi John,
Can I said that 1 internal port connected for 1 meeting place server?
Another 1 external port is for Cisco webex cloud server?
