It is a working telephone number without a telephone. We use the CTI route points as telephone numbers that either forward to a real number (because we want to keep the real number hidden) or go straight to voice mail for special recordings.
a CTI Route Point is a 'virtual device' that can answer and handle multiple, simultaneous calls on behalf of an application, usually a third party application such as Emergency Responder, Personal Assistant, etc.
