Hello, you can use plantonics headsets.

You can use the "product finder" at the plantronicsweb site:

http://www.plantronics.com/europe_union/en_GB/index_flash.jhtml

Select Cisco and the phone model and you'll find a list with all the compatibles headsets:DuoPro, SupraPlus,.., and you have the option with an amplifier or with a direct connection.

Ok, but it returns many models. It seems that some of them need an amplifier and others don't.

Can't you recommend any that doens't need any amplifier, that connects directly to the headset port?

Thanks for your answer.

Yes, there is a lot of models, you can select inside a family things like:

- Monoaural or binaural.

- Voice tube or noise-cancelling microphone

- Black or silver

The cheapest, at Supra Plus family, is the model H251 (black and monoaural with voice tube) or H251N (black and monoaural with noise-cancelling microphone)

Other models are H351, H351N, H261, H261N, H361 and H361N. All with the direct connection option.

You can see pictures and prices of all of them at google simply typing these codes at google.

Regards.

Pls, rate the post if you think it's useful

Ok. Regarding the H251 model, in the plantronics website, it says that the amplifier may be required.

Are you sure it is not needed for cisco ipphone 7940?

Thanks

Jose

For a headset that covers both ears (Binaural)....

Plantronics - H101-CIS + cord (cable for M12)
