Hi Juan,
It is possible to reconfigure RAID Option after installation but we advise you to do this only after you make sure you have a back up of the data on the datastore as you might loose data if the raid configuration and migration is not done correctly.
You can find more information on Managing raid configuration in UCS Express at:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/services_modules/sre_v/1.5/user/guide/raid.html
There is also a white paper on Migration of RAID I am unable to find it but will look and post the link to the white paper.
Thanks,
Radhika

What are the redundancy features supported by UCS express in cases of hardware failures?
11-03-2011 09:10 PM
Hi Ivan,
The currennt Hardware and UCS express software supports RAID 1 for Hard drisk for redundancy. The SRE hardware on which the software run also has three NICS so you configure NIC teamimg in ESXI for network failover scenarios.
Thanks,
Radhika

Hi Marcelo,
Which version of are you trying to install? If it is 1.5 version than you do not need to configure MGF IP address. For 1.5 installation look at the the following:
