Community,
I have a Nexus C2248TP-1GE uplinked to a Nexus 9K, when I try to enable Auto-MDIX on the FEX port I get the following error:
QTS-AGG-1B(config)# int eth104/1/11
QTS-AGG-1B(config-if)# mdix auto
ERROR: Ethernet104/1/11: requested config change not allowed
The reason im trying to enable this is because we have certain servers that when plugged into the port, the port does not come up on the FEX but when we plug a laptop into it, it works fine. These 2K's are single homed so the issue with the interface configs needing to be the same in both core 9K's I believe is avoided.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
