Cisco Hyperflex Storage shared with other Clusters

We are probably going to get a new 3-Nodes HX cluster with its own FI. The HX nodes will have 18 unit 3.8 TB disks each, total raw capacity 205.2 TB, with DRF 3 probably 68.4 TB.

Question I have is:

1. Can we use this storage for other environments like Cisco UCS domain that do not have its own storage, or an HP Blade cluster?

2. Does it have any recommended method to connect to the storage?

3. If we connect other environments to HX storage, will it cause any performance impact or degradation of services to HX cluster?

4. Is it a recommended to use HX storage ONLY for HX cluster?

General rule, is that you don't want other traffic competing on the storage data links, vlans, interfaces etc.

While it is possible to connect other devices over the storage data network, (nfs) this is not officially supported beyond backup solution purposes.

With the iSCSI functionality you see with 4.51a, this should make connecting to HX storage easier from outside the HX cluster.
