Hi ,
Can someone please give me an overview of what exactly is Cisco Prime - what it can do on high level.
Also can it be integrated with APIC - EM ? if yes why someone will do that ? I mean to ask what capability it offers then ?
thanks

It a mgmt. tool , records configs , provides stats on devices and best practice offerings templates , also eol eos stats on hardware software , from 3.0 its been very stable too ,use to have issue sin the past with bugs but its got a lot better and it quite programmable now with scripting functions for custom reporting collections
it works best alongside APIC-EM in terms it can push IWAN configs but best to do that from APIC-EM and have Prime synced to it as well so any changes made from the APIC-EM is also pushed and recorded saved in PI
also integrates with ACS / ISE and gives very good reporting outputs
You can see some of the amin features in this
