Data Centre migration

Hi Team,

We have a plan to migrate one of our DC in Heathrow to Swindon. We do not have much information about application dependanies, so we are planning to keep IP addressing in Target DC for Servers, VMs. Could you please confirm if we can use Cisco OTV for smooth migration? 

Any other approach may also be appreciated..

There are a lot of items that need to be checked, to accurately answer that, but some of the more important ones are:

• Does your WAN link(s) support multicast?
• What is your WAN bandwidth and latency?
• What is bandwidth (and latency) requirements for apps/servers you are expecting to be split between your multiple OTV sites?
• Max MTU your WAN link can support?
