Hi alltogether,
Windows 2008 R2 is mentioned as beeing supported in the releasenotes for Cisco Datacenter Network Manager 5.2(1), another post in the forum is telling, there are no known restrictions.
Trying to install on Windows 2008 R2 German I get the message "The install process will terminate because the Secondary Logon serice cannot be started. Start the ...".
The service is running.
Are there any language restrictions on the OS?
Is it planned to deliver DCNM as virtual appliance (would make many things much more easy)?

Hi Thomas
I have the same problem. Do you have found a solution in the meantime?

Hi All,
I think there´s a problem with the Windows Language. I´m trying to install DCNM6.1 in a Spanish Windows 2008 R2 and had the same problem.
Any solution or workarround?
Thanks!

Yes, to solve the problem just download PostgreSQL (I've used 8.4 for DCNM 6.1.2) and install it
http://www.postgresql.org/download/windows/
Using pgAdmin III (Postgre DB admin):
Create a new user, dcnmuser
Create a new empty DB called dcmdb
make dcnmuser "owner" of this db.
Then you can install language-independent DCNM
Please rate if it helps you!
Thanks,
Guido
