We're running DCNM 11.5(3) and are not able to create and deploy switch local SNMPv3 user on the Nexus switches in the fabric.
I've already tried two approaches:
- I entered the CLI configuration in the fabric settings > Manageability > AAA Freeform Config. When I Save&Deploy the settings, DCNM says "no configuration change".
- I created a switch policy by using template "nfm_switch_snmp_user". This created the correct CLI config in preview, but the configuration is not rolled. When I try to deploy the new switch policy DCNM says "no configuration change".
Has somebody an idea how to create and roll out SNMPv3 users to the Nexus switches?
Manual CLI configuration for SNMPv3 users works fine on Nexus switches, but that configuration will be lost after a switch replacement...
