DCNM not collecting data traffic for some switches

Hello group,

I have a DCNM which should monitor the traffic for 6 switches. They are all checked under "Administration / Performance Setup / LAN Collections". But under "Monitor / Switch / Traffic" there are two switches showing 0 traffic. And they have traffic for sure.

What could be wrong in my config?

Thanks

Hi,

Not for sure which DCNM version you're running on.  Is these two issued swtich has generated other information on the dashboard and successful discovered. (for example, cpu usage, memory usage, etc)

Are all 6 switches new added to DCNM or these two switches has failed to collect traffic after working for sometime.

You could check some possible reason following below steps.

Check Monitor > Switch > Traffic whether all 6 switches are listed.  If those two issue devices are missing, please check whether "access " option in the performace LAN collection page has been enabled. If not, you could enable it at the top and apply the config to see if the missing switches could start showing up on the traffic page with stats.

Hope this helps.
