DLU Licensing

Hi, We are having CUCM 5.x and i want to order additional Device License for 7911 phone, and required 60 units. Can some help with part number to purchase device license for 60 Units which supports 5.x CallManager.

Hello Mohammed,

DLU's are not version specific,  you can use Top Level part number LIC-CM-DL to purchase additional DLU's.

kindly i have same case need to buy license for the following Phones with different numbers to work on Cisco call Manager version 7.1:

1. CP-7975G  --> QTY70
2. CP-7965G --> QTY100
3. CP-7942G--> QTY 150
4. CP-7916= --> QTY100
5. CP-9951-C-K9 --> QTY50

please advise with license or DLU part number can buy to add the above number of IP phones on CM 7.1.

Hi Sally,

You can use the same top level part number to order the DLU's needed "LIC-CM-DL".  The expansion module CP-7916 does not require a license.

If you have CM 7.1.5 you do not need to order DLU's but you will need the Enhanced license instead. You need to use top level part number L-CUCM-USR-LIC-ADD and select Enhanced license. The licensing scheme will be per device (70 CP-7975G = 70 Enhanced license).

Using c2951-CME-SRST/k9- with CP 7951 other 8 series and 9 series of Cisco Phones. How many DLU will I require per device. Can you guide me please.
